Joe,
Your kit plan sounds fine. I have a small drill press and the required taps but I'll need to pick up a 10-32 die. I think I have a nice piece of walnut that might work for the base. Ok Joe, sign me up..

Hi Craig, I have all the parts cut and ready. I have all of the hardware as well. I will put a kit together as soon as I get a chance. Been really busy with summer activities. Thanks -Joe

Hang on folks. I am working on a one piece design that eliminates much of the precise drilling and the time it takes to produce and build the current Brick kit. I am machining the body out of a solid piece of aluminum. This method reduces parts count and offers a much better fit and finish. The only holes required are non critical for mounting to a base of your choice. I hope to have a few kits and finished keys ready in October.

Kit Update - I think the Skinny Brick will make a better kit. Fewer parts, no critical holes and a much simpler and better lever arm mounting assembly.
